About Computer Department

Department of Computer Engineering is stareted in the year of 2007 to add the needs of the north maharashtra region. The department offers students an undergraduate program which is affiliated to North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon. Here the students gain breadth and depth of knowledge in a multitude of computing specialties and are well prepared for industry positions as well as academic positions. A team of teaching faculties and technical staff members under the leadership of Prof. D.V.Chaudhari unanimously harnesses its potential in all aspects to take the department to greater heights. The Bachelor of Engineering Programme in Computer Engineering commenced from the academic year 2007-08. The current student intake capacity is 60. It has always been among the top performers in the region. The Department continuously try to improve the programme delivery to keep our graduates competitive in the job market. The Department is known for its excellent results. There are six well-equipped laboratories in the department. After graduation, the department continues to enjoy strong interaction and support from alumni. The Faculty consists of Head of the Department, Assistant Professors and visiting Faculty.

Our dedicated faculty, who not only strive to excel in the classrooms, but are always here to help students, the department has enthusiastic faculty members who provide expertise in their areas of interests which are major areas of computer science and engineering.
